Hi! I'm Surya Suravarapu, I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA). I'm a passionate programmer, software architect, open source advocate and contributor. At the moment, I'm a Committer of a couple of open source projects -- Ehcache and Lift framework.
I have over twelve years of experience working in diverse industries including E-Commerce, Enterprise incentive management, Communications, Pharmaceutical and Financial. I take immense pleasure in solving business problems.
I started this blog, a few years ago, to force myself to write and share my thoughts. This blog reflects a lot of my interests (surprise!) -- software architecture, RESTful services, Java and JVM-based languages (Scala is my language of choice, at the moment). What else do you see here? Anything that I spend time exploring and if I think it could of interest to the readers you will see it here.
